Reaktor has been awarded the Gold Award in the Digital Leadership category at the Cathay Supplier Awards 2025, recognizing its long-running contribution to Cathay’s digital transformation.
The award reflects a partnership built on more than product delivery. Over several years, Reaktor has worked alongside Cathay across strategy, concept development, and the design and engineering of digital experiences that touch millions of passengers annually. While much of this work spans disciplines and operates behind the scenes, its impact appears in how Cathay shows up digitally: consistent, considered, and ahead of where the industry tends to go.

One visible expression of this partnership is Cathay Pacific's next-generation in-flight entertainment system. Built with a cross-functional team of designers and developers, it offers a seamless experience across different screens and aircraft types, reaching millions of passengers each year. The platform features an extensive collection of curated media options along with a highly modular and adaptable interface design, including a fully integrated 3D flight map, personalized journey timeline, lavatory status, and social features like “Watch Together.”
The work has been recognized internationally, including the German Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, and Crystal Cabin Award.
