Nick Saveliev. Software developer. Started as a trainee in 2025.
Last winter, I was just a student looking for a place to grow professionally and strengthen my skills. The path wasn’t always straightforward. Then one day, I received an interview invitation from Reaktor.
After the first interview – which was unlike any screening I’d ever experienced – I got the feeling that this was something special. From the very first minute, the atmosphere was so friendly. I could tell the recruiters weren’t just going through a checklist, but were truly passionate about the process. Even so, throughout the interviews, I still had those moments of hesitation, wondering if I was good enough or if I had messed up.
But once I got the offer and started working, the surprises didn’t stop! From day one, I stepped into a genuinely supportive environment. No one judges you for asking what you don’t yet know.
What’s even cooler is that I’ve been contributing to a real project from the very start.
I’m not just doing "junior tasks". I’m continuously participating in discussions and brainstorming sessions. "Impact from day one" sounds a bit like a cliché, but here, it’s actually true.
I could talk for hours about how amazing the people are. I never feel like someone from another project is a stranger. You can easily make new friends while making your morning coffee or just wandering around the office.
There’s no strict hierarchy; every team member is treated with the same respect.
Regardless of how long they’ve been with the company. I even had dinner with our CEO at one of our company events, and it felt just like sitting down with anyone else. We just hung out in a group, chatting over food and a beer.
I was also surprised by how much effort Reaktor puts into professional growth. It’s not just about tech. It’s about communication, ways of working, and so many things I’d never considered before.
You really have the freedom to choose your domain and what you want to learn.
Plus, I can't skip mentioning the hobby clubs and events. I’ve tried so many things I would never have tried on my own!
Could I have believed a year ago that I’d be working at such a great company with so many awesome people? Yes, I could! And so should you.
