Reaktor partners with Fintech Farm to unlock emerging technologies in banking

By Reaktor

February 27, 2026

Reaktor and Fintech Farm have started a new partnership to help Nordic banks turn AI and new technology into measurable business results. The collaboration brings together Reaktor’s experience in building premium digital solutions for banks and insurers with Fintech Farm’s role as a connector across the Nordic finance and fintech ecosystem, including the Digital Banking Academy.

The partnership focuses on moving banks faster from idea to production while maintaining control over quality, governance, and risk. Reaktor and Fintech Farm will work with the ecosystem to build products and services, create new practical playbooks, peer learning, and executive-level conversations that help decision-makers prioritize the right investments.

What to expect from the partnership

The work will focus on three outcomes banks are prioritizing right now:

  • Shorter time-to-value for new services through cross-functional accelerator teams that co-develop with internal teams and raise delivery performance against DORA metrics.

  • Reliable, compliant productionization of AI for customer care and operations (e.g., multilingual financial AI agents, KYC/AML automation, fraud detection) with governance-by-design.

  • API and data foundations that scale. From premium APIs for embedded finance to cloud and data platform modernization that turns information into action.

“Strong, secure digital services are the backbone of a competitive finance sector”, says Hannele Ulvas, Business Director at Reaktor. “Building on Reaktor’s track record of shipping reliable services in regulated environments, this partnership brings fresh momentum to the industry – faster where it counts, and safer where it matters.”

“Banks are past the point where emerging technologies are optional. The real question is how to adopt them in a way that creates business value, not just activity,” said Janne Salminen, Co-founder of Fintech Farm. “Reaktor has strong capabilities in taking AI and modern engineering into real products. Together, we can help the Nordic ecosystem connect strategy, execution, and learning in a way that actually sticks.”

Join the kick-off breakfast seminar

In addition to working side-by-side with banks and insurers, Reaktor will help upskill the wider Nordic finance ecosystem through Fintech Farm’s Digital Banking Academy, sharing practical playbooks on AI-assisted development, data and analytics, and omnichannel CX.

The partnership will kick off with a breakfast seminar titled “Beyond chatbots: AI, data, and customer experience in banking and finance in 2026” on 12 March 2026.

Reakor’s Financial Services growth initiative

Alongside the partnership with Fintech Farm, Reaktor is establishing a dedicated Financial Services growth initiative to deepen its commitment to high-quality digitalization in banking and insurance. The initiative is led by Hannele Ulvas and Mark Kyander, combining deep domain experience with Reaktor’s delivery track record to help banks and insurers modernize with speed, quality, and control.

“This initiative is about bringing more momentum to our work in banking and insurance,” said Mark Kyander, Business Director at Reaktor. “We’ll focus on what actually moves the needle: bringing AI, API banking, and data capabilities into real products and ways of working – measured in deployment frequency, recovery time, and customer outcomes, not proof-of-concepts.”
