Summer Developer

Starting your process

Please apply through our website or via LinkedIn.

To apply, you’ll need to:

  •  Submit your resume (1–2 pages)

  •  Answer the application questions

Please write your resume and application answers in English.

Application deadline:

Sunday 1 March 2026 at midnight

We will review all applications, so there’s no need to rush — being among the first 100 applicants won’t impact your chances.

Homework

What to expect: 

  •  You will receive the homework assignment on Monday 9 March at 9am
  •  You will get further instructions in your email invitation
  •  Please submit the homework assignment by Sunday 15 March at midnight

  •  You will hear from us by Friday 20 March with a link to schedule your intro call 

Introductory call

Duration: 30 minutes
Interviewer: Rebecca Goodall
Location: Remote (Google Meet)

What to expect:

  •  We’ll begin with brief introductions

  •  You’ll answer some open-ended questions about your background

  •  You’ll have time to ask us any questions about the role or Reaktor

  •  There will be a very short code review

  •  This interview will be conducted in English

How to prepare:

  •  Research Reaktor, who are we? What do we do? What is consulting? Browse our case studies to get a sense of our work

  •  Reread the job advert and reflect on your past experiences

  •  Review what you wrote in your application and consider if there’s anything you’d like to expand on during the call

  •  Prepare to ask us questions, what do you need to know to decide if this opportunity is the right fit for you?

  •  Make sure you're set-up in a quiet place to take the call, you can check out our tips on preparing for video interviews

  •  No need to over prepare! While it’s great to be ready, we don’t expect you to spend hours preparing for this interview

Attitude interview

Duration: 60 minutes
Interviewer: The talent acquisition team
Location: Remote (Google Meet)

What to expect:

  •  We’ll start with a few tips to guide the conversation

  •  You’ll answer questions about your ways of working, collaboration, and teamwork (read more about this on our Attitude Interview info page)

  •  There will be time for you to ask questions at the end

How to prepare:

  •  Learn about our culture through our Culture page or explore a post from our "Dear future colleague…” series

  •  Familiarize yourself with the STAR Method, this can help structure your responses effectively

  •  Reflect on past experiences, think about examples that showcase your collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving skills

  •  You will hear from us by Friday 17 April

  •  If you would like some feedback at this stage, please let your recruiter know


Skills interview

Duration: 90 minutes
Interviewers: Two of our developers
Location: In person, at our offices

What to expect:

  •  We’ll start with introductions, followed by a deep dive into your software skills

  •  You’ll go through open-ended technical questions, a code review, and a live coding exercise

  •  We’ll explore your experience with modern web development technologies

  •  The conversation is structured to reflect Reaktor’s real working environment

  •  There will be a short break halfway through, but feel free to ask for additional breaks if needed

How to prepare:

  •  You’ll be speaking with two of Reaktor’s consultants, so think about what questions you’d like to ask them

  •  This is not a memory test, and we don’t expect you to present code

  •  Come well-rested, approach the conversation with a clear mind and a collaborative mindset

  •  You will hear from us by Friday 1 May
