Talent Growth Amsterdam


We are looking for a Recruiter to join the Talent Growth team at our Amsterdam office that has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work! Your role will be to help us grow by finding new great colleagues for Reaktor communities in Amsterdam, Lisbon, Helsinki and other European locations. Being a digital consultancy, we are mostly focused on recruiting software developers and product designers.

What will your day look like?

Your day-to-day will involve a lot of communication with very diverse people from all over the world. You will hear their stories during interviews, be in touch with the candidates at every stage of the hiring process, negotiate with recruitment partners, and work closely with the European Talent Growth team on a daily basis.

You will experience a high level of autonomy working in a small dynamic team within a global organisation of 600+ people. You will be encouraged to participate in improving our hiring processes and making company-crucial decisions about applicants. But don’t worry – we don’t expect you to have a perfect grasp of all the systems, techniques and candidate expectations. There is space to grow and learn from your peers who are always happy to share their expertise.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Going through CVs and making decisions on who moves forward in the process
  • Sourcing profiles through LinkedIn and other databases, reaching out to the potential candidates
  • Conducting interviews, taking notes, scoring candidates 
  • Managing the recruitment pipeline: being in touch with the candidates, ensuring they receive timely communication and attention all the way up to the starting date
  • Acting as a central point of multiple recruitment pipelines (for example, developer/ designer/ back office roles) for different EU offices 
  • Working closely with our recruitment partners by setting expectations and providing feedback on submitted profiles
  • Playing an active part in internal recruitment strategy planning, setting goals and monitoring team results (we don’t have individual KPIs).

Ideally you:

  • Are able to handle fast-moving task streams and have experience working with ticketing systems
  • Understand the importance of putting candidates first, are able to create a relaxed atmosphere for the candidate and listen actively
  • Are comfortable with working in an international environment and can be conscious of cultural differences 
  • Are comfortable with using spoken and written English
  • Are excited to build effective communication and conflict resolution habits, you are open to acknowledge personal biases and learn how to mitigate them
  • Have spent 2 – 3+ years working in recruitment/ HR/ or customer service
  • Knowledge of the tech industry in Reaktor EU markets (Netherlands, Portugal, Spain) would be a plus.

If you can speak Portuguese or Spanish on top of English, that would be a great advantage, however, is not required.

What’s in it for you?

Salary: €36 000 – €52 000 a year

Relocation: If you are not based in Amsterdam, we can help with relocation within the EU but, unfortunately, we don’t provide visa support for this role.
