Reaktor is opening an office in Tampere and bringing a host of top international clients. We’re now looking for experienced software developers to help build our new office and create world-class digital products for our customers.
“We’ve had our eye on the Tampere region for a while now. There is a lot of world-class talent in the area and it’s regarded as one of Finland’s technology capitals for a good reason. We’ve worked with several Tampere-based clients – yet, we wanted to pick the right moment to start a new office. As the international demand for our expertise has increased greatly this year, we believe now is the perfect time,” says Reaktor Business Director Silja Närhi.
“Our recently opened Turku office has been a great example of combining local expertise with international-level product development. We aim to continue our success in bringing together the best experts and projects globally.”
Reaktor Tampere will focus on our Tampere-based clients as well as international projects, done in close collaboration with our offices abroad. As the Tampere office forms its own independent identity and culture within Reaktor, the future focus and clientele of the office will be decided by its employees.
“In a self-organizing company, the initiative to open a new office is not a top-down decision, made by the board or executive committee, only to be delegated down to local management for execution. This is all planned and executed by the entire personnel of Reaktor Finland working together, and the people we recruit will equally have the freedom and responsibility to make the company their own. These people will have a massive impact on what kinds of projects we take part in and what kind of community is built in Tampere. Reaktor is owned by its employees, which is why it is vital to us that we take care of our employees and their future.”
